Franklin Simon department stores in New York City carried the collection in his dept store Mr Simon started the business in 1902 under the name Franklin Simon Specialty Shops. The business specialized in goods imported from Europe and sold at the same price level as domestic design products. The original store was located at 414 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
