Trending luxurious nails

This holiday season gorgeous deep cran-burgundies, vintage reds and long length press on nails hit the trending scene!

I'm seeing nail color trends that mix festive classics with some modern twists. Dark, luxurious shades are trending, including deep reds, navy, and chocolate browns, for that perfect touch of fashion forward sophistication.

For a gorgeous glammy mode try out silver metallics and multicolor glitter polishes that'll bring in the New Year with dazzling sparkle, while softer choices like frosty whites and sheer, opalescent layers echo the look of fresh snow, ideal for a subtler, wintery vibrations.

Other trending shades include rich pigmented greens like sage and emerald, cerulean,

mint green, khaki green , deep forest green aquamarine that add a nature-inspired touch, and bold black and gray tones that fit perfectly with darker winter aesthetics. For a bit more texture, 3D metallic details, "milk bath" sheer whites, and vanilla chrome offer unique, eye-catching options to elevate your look for the season.

Let's not forget a classic true vintage red.

In the 1930s, red nails became a symbol of glamour and sophistication, largely influenced by Hollywood's Golden Age. Here are some key trends in modern red nail colors and styles from that give a nod to that era:

Classic Crimson and Ruby Reds

Bright and bold shades of red, like crimson and ruby, were incredibly popular. These colors were eye-catching and complemented the glamorous looks of the time.

Shimmer and Satin Finishes

While matte finishes were rare, some nail lacquers had subtle satin or shimmer effects, adding to the luxurious aesthetic.

Moon Manicures (Half-Moon Nails)

The "moon manicure" was a defining trend. Women would leave the lunula (the crescent-shaped base of the nail) and sometimes the tips unpolished. This style was elegant and gave the illusion of elongation.

Coordination with Lipstick

Nail polish was often matched to lipstick shades, a trend popularized by brands like Revlon and Cutex, which marketed matching sets.

Deep Bordeaux and Burgundy Reds

While bright reds dominated, deeper tones like Bordeaux and burgundy also gained traction, especially for evening looks. These shades exuded a sense of sophistication and mystery.

Emerging Nail Care Products:

The 1930s saw advancements in nail polish formulations. Brands focused on long-lasting and glossy finishes, setting the stage for modern nail trends.

The overall vibe of 1930s red nail trends was bold, feminine, and glamorous, reflecting the era’s desire for escapism during tough economic times.

Handmade Jelly Soft Glue on Nails:

I'm also loving these handmade gel press on nails for this fall/ winter with the upcoming holiday season these faux nails are it! These aren't crafted by a machine printing method, manicurists actually hand-apply gel polish giving them a “jelly” high shine finish . They have a salon-quality and are super easy to apply.

The thinner taper at the cuticle gives these nails a seamless and natural fit. Great for any occasion like valentines, wedding, holiday, daily dress up, party, bride, new years eve etc.
